A pall of gloom descended upon the family of Manish Kamdar who lost their daughter Yasha, her mother-in-law and the youngest member of the family, 15-month-old Rudra.
As Ahmedabad plane crash shocked the world, those who lost their loved ones remained inconsolable. As toll in plane crash rose to 279 on Saturday, bereaving families struggle to come to terms with their losses.
Manish Kamdar still can’t accept that his daughter and her family members are no more as he sits in the civil hospital. As he laments the deaths of his loved ones, several “what ifs” lingers in his head. He questions what if they didn’t bard the plane. Yasha faced trouble while boarding but the ill-fated plane did not leave her stranded.
Yasha was an Indian passport holder while her mother-in-law and son were British nationals. Kamdar recalled what transpired at the immigration centre.
